1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp olive or sesame oil
½ onion, diced (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
¼ cup honey
1½ tbsp hot sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups cooked rice
Toppings: avocado, cucumber, fried egg, scallions, sesame seeds, lime wedges
Cook rice and set aside.
Heat oil in skillet. Add beef, onion, and garlic. Sauté 5–7 mins until browned. Drain excess fat.
In bowl, whisk honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and pepper flakes.
