Soft, golden rolls filled with gooey cheese and brushed with garlic butter. The ultimate side dish or appetizer — perfect for parties or pasta night.

Ingredients

For the Dough (or use 1 lb store-bought):

  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast

  • ¾ cup warm water

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp sugar

For the Filling:

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella

  • ½ cup cheddar or Parmesan

  • Optional: herbs, red pepper flakes

For Garlic Butter:

  • ¼ cup melted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or 1 tsp dried herbs

Instructions

  • Prepare dough and let rise until doubled.

  • Mix cheeses and optional herbs for filling.

  • Divide dough into 12–14 balls. Fill with cheese and seal.

  • Place in buttered dish. Let rise 20–30 mins.

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush with garlic butter.

  • Bake 18–22 minutes until golden. Brush again with butter.

  • Serve warm.

Notes

  • Make ahead: shape and refrigerate overnight.

  • Add-ins: bacon, jalapeños, or chopped herbs.

  • Best served fresh and hot.
