Description: Soft, golden buns filled with spicy shredded chicken, gooey cheese, and creamy chili mayo—perfect for snacks, parties, or meal prep.
For Dough:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp instant yeast
1 cup warm milk
2 tbsp butter or oil
For Filling:
2 chicken breasts, boiled and shredded
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
2 green chilies, chopped
1 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Topping:
1 egg (for egg wash)
Sesame seeds or nigella seeds
Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl. Add warm milk gradually and knead.
Add butter/oil and knead until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
Mix all filling ingredients in a bowl.
Divide dough into 8–10 balls. Flatten, fill with chicken mixture, and seal.
Place on tray, seam-side down. Let rise 15–20 minutes.
Brush with egg wash, sprinkle seeds, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes.
Cool slightly and serve warm.
Freeze for up to 2 months after baking.
Substitute with tuna or veggies for variation.
Use Greek yogurt to reduce fat.
