Crispy, spicy Buffalo cauliflower bites made in the air fryer. A healthy and satisfying alternative to wings, perfect for snacking or meatless meals.
1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup unsweetened plant milk or water
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup Buffalo sauce
2 tbsp melted butter or vegan butter
Olive oil spray
Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
In a bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and liquid into a thick batter.
Coat cauliflower in batter, shaking off excess.
Place in air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray lightly with oil.
Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
Toss in Buffalo sauce mixed with melted butter.
Return to air fryer for 3–5 more minutes to glaze.
Serve with ranch, celery, and carrot sticks.
Use gluten-free flour to make it GF.
Bake at 425°F if no air fryer is available.
Add sweetener to the sauce for milder heat.
